Nether Burrows Farm is the perfect secluded rural Derbyshire Peak District setting to relax and enjoy the company of those around you. Our larger cottages are perfect for getting a group together to celebrate a special occasion or we have a smaller property perfect for a romantic getaway.

The Site
Over 4 acres of private Derbyshire land means that there is plenty of space for whatever outdoor activities you are interested in. Nether Burrows Farm is the home to four large holiday cottages and 1 smaller cottage, each equipped for all your holiday needs. Meadow View and Willow Barn each sleep 14 people and are identical properties, perfect for larger groups with children. Sunshine Cottage was converted in 2008 and sleeps a maximum of 10 people. It has been completed to a luxurious finish with a modern twist on the country feel and a relaxing hot tub on the terrace for you to warm up in on a chilly country evening. The Farmhouse with its traditional decor offers entertainment with its own games room. We also have a smaller 2 bedroom holiday cottage which sleeps 4 people called The Pig Barn, which is perfect for a romantic getaway. Soak up local views and wash away stress with a private hot tub which can be added to Willow Barn and Meadow Barn upon request.
Ideal for family holidays
Nether Burrows Farm is the ideal place to let your children run around and explore, with an outdoor toddler jungle gym, private games room in most of our cottages, a well-equipped kids cave and kids kits to keep toddlers happy and a football pitch with full size goal posts. There are also puzzles, books and games for you to borrow.
For your baby we can provide travel cots, highchairs, baby kits (upon request) which all means that Nether Burrows Farm offers first class family holiday cottages to all our guests.
The original Derbyshire Farmhouse at Nether Burrows Farm was refurbished in 2009 to provide accommodation for 10 people and has a traditional feel of ‘where grandma used to live’.
The secluded Derbyshire peak District location of Nether Burrows Farm means that you can get family and friends together in an easily accessible location and still enjoy the tranquillity of the country location.
We believe that if you are coming on holiday with a group of friends you should be able to sit and eat together and enjoy each other’s company. You will find that all the living accommodation at Nether Burrows Farm is centred around this philosophy providing large spacious areas in kitchens, living areas and games rooms to enable you to enjoy your holiday without getting under each other’s feet.
We operate a no smoking policy. Pets are only permitted in Farmhouse and Pig Barn, we have a strict no pet policy throughout the other cottages.
Please note that we have a thorough maintenance plan in place throughout the year to keep our site in the best shape so you can have the most enjoyable stay. This may mean that works are undertaken whilst you are visiting our site.
